Preparation for a Global Future
Yinghua Academy is the only full immersion Mandarin Chinese K-8 school in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It opened in 2006 as the first public charter Chinese immersion school in the U.S. and the first Chinese immersion school in the Midwest. Yinghua continues to be a national leader, offering an international perspective and outstanding results.

新闻 | News & Events Child Tax Credit – Deadline November 15
Families with no income or low income could get at least $3,000 per child with the Child Tax Credit, plus $1,400 with the third stimulus payment – even if they have never filed taxes before and if they have not filed taxes this year. It is estimated that more than 33,000 children in Minnesota could miss out on this money if their parent/guardian has not filed.

2022 Summer Mailing Information
We’re going green and making the summer mailing digital! The mailed envelope you would usually receive before school starts can be found on the Summer Mailing Information page of Yinghua’s website. Please carefully look through each document and complete any forms needed as they are important for a successful start to the school year. Most can be done online. View the grade-by-grade school supply lists: 2022-2023 School Supplies. Shop local sales, or participate in a school fundraiser through School Tool Box (STB): When you order online through STB, Yinghua receives a 4% donation. STB supplies ship directly to your home.

News flash! We have a rare occurrence and, as a result, a rare opportunity for interested families! Yinghua currently has a limited number of open kindergarten spots for the upcoming 2022-23 school year. Current families know firsthand the value of a Yinghua education. The school has flourished because of dedicated school leaders, high-caliber teachers, energetic students, and supportive families.
